Don’t waste your time

There are other shops in the neighbourhood. I recommend trying any of them.

I took my bike into Universal to have them look at a very obvious front end shake under braking.

From the very beginning I was misled. The guys told me to bring it down within the next day and they would take a look at it. After 7 days and couple of my inquiry calls they finally took a look.

It wasn’t until I had called nearly a week after that which I was told to come take it for a test ride to see if it was any better. It was not.
After nearly 2 weeks of my bike sitting in their shop they could not determine the problem.

In the end I was stuck with a significant bill and a mechanic recommending taking it to another shop to have them figure out the problem.
Before leaving I had mentioned my concerns with not calling me when they said they would as well as being charged full price without a solution. I was told the owner would give me a call later on to discuss further. Instead of the owner calling, I was called by an employee who only reiterated the tests they did to my bike.

In the end I was left with a nice bill and an unsolved issue.

I highly recommend not risking your time and money at this shop.
