Best Indian Food in the Glebe
August 01, 2014Great atmosphere, very clean and very good location. Recently updated their inside and outside sign and building attire. Super delicious, you can watch your food be traditionally prepared in the back. A++ defiantly returning soon.

Best Vindaloo in North America
June 07, 2014I can undoubtedly say that the lamb vindaloo served at Taj Mahal is the best vindaloo I have ever had. The spice is just the right amount, very flavorful and its absolutely to die for. If you love spicy food , you definitely should try out this dish.

Decent Indian food at the Glebe

I don't know where the meat comes from, but it took hella time to get our dishes. Not only, was it long, but we also didn't appreciate the food. Except the naan that was good, we didn't like, either the lamb ot the chicken. the meat didn't taste good, and my friend still wonders where the cheese was in her cheese balls.
The service was slow and we never got our drinks...

This was our first experience in Indian food. Wow, it was superb. The waiter was extremely helpful, and gracious. We ordered too much food, and now are experienced enough to know better. We will definitely return to this restaurant whenever we are in Ottawa.
