May 25, 2013- Minake sushi was a quint little restaurant with tables set up. Looking at the menu I noticed the common sushi like kapa maki (cumber roll) was 3$ for 6 small pieces, so it was really cheap to get sushi in a nice environment. Through the more unusual sushi like mango was more pricy at like 7/8$ for I'd guess 6 pieces. In all it was one of the cutest places I've went to. Me and my friend... more

February 22, 2013Kyoto used to be good but now they have new owners and they suck, the awards on the wall are from the old owners, so I've been all around and Minake is good, fresh avacado always, you can tell the owner has pride, he is always creating new dishes

February 13, 2013We went there for lunch one day as our usual sushi place was closed. I wish we hadn't gone! The place itself looks bright and clean however the music was really loud. They didn't bring the green tea to our table like most places do, until we asked for it. The food was over priced for the portion and quality of food.
