Even though we live in the US it's definitely worth the trip across the border and eat at Sammy J's. We have been there many times. My favorite dinner is the New Orleans Combination. It has steak, shrimp and scallops over cheddar mash potatoes. Its truly the best meal I have ever had. Everyone has always been nice and the service is great.

My meal was very good. I can't remember what my plate was called, but it was grilled chicken breast with a honey - bourbon sauce, smothered in mushrooms, bacon and cheese, served with white cheddar mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked asparagus. Parking is available in the lot around the building.

I haven't hit this chain in years, and it looks like they're trying to move upscale like Cactus Club. Unfortunately I didn't notice anything special, and the theme is rather bland. Looks a bit like a Chop as well.

Staff were friendly and professional.
