Used parts
Service after the sale was poor, the solution for the issue I was having was to put tires off a lease return on it. This did help but the vibration is still there and now it sounds like a truck rolling down the road. Looks like putting used parts on a car that didn't solve the problem is good enough. Never again will I deal with them.
Friendly and courteous doesnt compensate for damage
Took my 2007 FJ Cruiser to Preferred Collision/Saint John Toyota for a hinge replacement. When the job was completed I immediately spoke to the staff about a network of fine scratches on the lower door that were not present when the vehicle was dropped off for repair(its black, very obvious). The estimator wasn't working the day of the repair so I returned the following day. He said they would buff the door but some scratches would still show. I brought the vehicle back to have the door buffed and as discussed some scratches still showed. It looked better and there were a couple of scratches elsewhere on the door that were pre-existing so I said that would do. On closer inspection under sunlight it became obvious that the entire door now is covered in swirl marks from the buffer. I did not contact Prefered Collision again as I dont want anything worse to happen to this vehicle.
I would not recommend having any work done here. Although they are friendly and courteous the work, at least in the paint shop seems sloppy and substandard. I am too old to fix this myself so I have to find a paint shop that knows how to use a buffer to complete this repair at my expense. I am not impressed and not even close to satisfied June 2007
Stay away
They sell c@!p used cars with patches done so you dont notice till your off the lot and then dont stand by what they sell

July 22, 2010We have purchases 3 cars from the dealership and are very pleased with the service. Toyota is unbeatable for value, and the sales and service staff are second to none. Very professional and excellent after sales service.
