Starting with the ambiance...it is beautiful, relaxing and inviting. The staff were very friendly and accommodating...they "really" wanted our dining experience to be great. Last but certainly not least was the food...in a word fabulous! Highly recommend the spinach salad and duck confit.
I think I am very lucky to live in a city with multi ethnic culture and cuisine. So it was without
any pre-conceived notions I took a German couple with us to Saege Bistro for dinner.

I work at a hospital downtown Halifax, and often have business lunches with colleages at Saege Bistro. The location is excellent, a 5 minute walk from the all hospitals. The food is excellent, presented well and the prices are good. I have gone to the happy hour after work a few times and had a great time. A great, relaxed... more
