This place has really good vibes and I really enjoy myself here every time I visit this place. They have very friendly staff who make you feel very welcome. And, they have some great beers too.
What a great spot for a drink and a meal! Went tonight with a party of six and really enjoyed our meals. The service was prompt and attentive and the free appetizer with the Yelp check-in was honoured without a problem. I had the battered shrimp which was very tasty. Three people at our table ordered this and we all liked it. Another had the fish and chips and seemed to enjoy it. There were no... more
Boyfriend and I headed here on Valentines night, about 9.30pm, after a movie on Innes.
When you go in there is a section to the right. This is where the bar is with a whole bunch of tables and the "stage" area.
To the left when you go in there is also a ton of tables and chairs to sit but for the life of me i have no idea why people would sit in that part. It has the feeling of a bar or a...

Great staff, service and amazing food! My go to for Lunches in Orleans. On Nights ask for Jeff Roberts at the bar and say Greg Campbell sent you.
This is the first time we come to this restaurant. After we placed our orders, I proceeded to check in here in Yelp on my phone. An offer popped up for a free appetizer with a minimum purchase of $10 showed up on screen. We showed it to the server who was not aware of this offer. She checked with the bartender/manager who insisted that they needed a print out of the coupon/offer in order for... more
Rapid service. Clean, pleasant environment. Staff very efficient and knowledgeable. Good selection of wines.
A hamburger of ribeye (topped with French fried onions) sounds appetizing. Ours were too well done (i.e., overcooked, not juicy). The server didn't ask how we wanted them. Are Ottawans are all of one stripe when it comes to meat cookery? Ketchup was available. It helped!
I used to think that D’Arcy’s was a great place to meet with friends, listen to some music, have a beer and enjoy some pub fare. Well three out of four ain’t bad I suppose…..
The last meal I ate at D’Arcy’s was bad, nay; it was awful! I ordered the steak and it to put it mildly it was...

Dropped in for a quick bite. Great, lively pub. Waitstaff very freindly and quick service. Food was very good. Served hot. McGee's is very central right across from the Tomb of the Unknown soldier. Would enjoy going back and trying something else. Good atmosphere as well.
Place seemed nicely decorated, service was a bit slow, was in the mood for fish n chips, and my girlfriend had a club. The fish wasn't good at all, like it was frozen but not fresh, very strong fish taste and very very dry, girlfriend liked her club but was embarrased to ask again for white bread a second time.... more
I do enjoy this location.
Its nothing fancy but the live music and beer selection is nice.
The menu is not very large and has a lot of repetition of the same items in a different flavour. There is however a few good things on the menu mostly in the appetizer section. The Blarney Chips, which are basically nachos with wafer potatoes instead of tortillas, are a must. Other items to try on the...

I really enjoyed my meal here! I had a flat bread with sausages and mushroom and the sweet potato fries and it was very good. They gave me chipotle mayo to eat with my fries which made it even better.
The best part though was the dessert. They have red velvet donuts served with hot white chocolate to dip in. The donuts are freshly made and they were just... the best thing ever!
The staff were...

We were in Ottawa for Winterlude in February. We had lunch here and it was excellent food.My boyfriend had a Ruebin sandwich which was to die for.Lots of food, great atmosphere. They do have entertainment at night.Would definitely go back.
Now that our kids are older they will suddenly tell my wife and I, "You need to go on a Date". Now whether this is because they notice that we need some alone time, or they just want us our of their hair, I don't know.
On these nights when we have only a couple of hours to find something to do, more often than not, dinner is at D'Arcy's.
They have a very nice bar (not as many different beers...

We found the food was OK but not too impressed with the plastic Irish environment.
Value was we felt poor. Staff were very nice. Would only return really if nothing else available.
Mid-week lunch with two adults and a well-behaved seven year old was a pleasant enough experience. The service was not entirely attentive considering how few tables were occupied. The food was adequate, but not memorable, but typical of pub-type fare.
For dish, we ordered the beef medium rare. It arrived beyond well done. The dish was discounted 50%. What was...

Well well well. What can I say about this place?
In the mood for some live music and some beers on a weekend and are in the Orleans area? Well I definitely recommend coming to this casual Irish pub for a beer and some music.
I myself don't particularly enjoy the food at this place. I guess you could say the food is BLAH. I'm not the biggest fan of Irish food though, so that might just be my...
