Graze on mouhamara (pomegranate and walnuts), sabanegh (spinach and onions), fattouche (salad with pita and mint), and yalanti (vine leaves stuffed with rice, chickpeas, walnuts, and tomatoes) in a pleasant, stone-walled room draped with ivy. Kebabs dominate the main courses.

Delicious, flavourful food
June 16, 2014Maybe my favourite restaurant in Montreal. Every bite has so many good spices, herbs and flavours. I love that they make dishes with pomegranate, so exotic! Many good dishes for Vegetarians and meat eater alike. I'm always telling friends to go here and they always love it.

Small cosy restaurant, very kind and helpful service, interesting wine list
It is better to go as a group in order to taste a wider variety of food.
Everything was extremely tasty and very well presented
Definitely one of my best meals this year, and will go back soon!

Amazing lamb

We were visiting Montreal & it was recommended we go to Alep for their lamb.
So glad we ventured out to find this neighbourhood gem
The service was exceptional, very accommodating and great recommendations
We enjoyed the lamb very much and had a wonderful experience

tres bon petit resto pres du marche jean-talon......le petit pate alep est une variation du pate chinois......une viande savoureuse,pomme de terre et le tout gratiner......meme pas besoin de pogne-en-lair(ketchup) tellement les aliments sont gouteux....... je recommende cet endroit sympa.... Bref, c'est mon avis et je le partage !

Excellent restaurant. Cuisine de qualité. Le proprio achete ses legumes au marché Jean-Talon justa a coté et il achete toujours les plus beaux légumes et fruit . Bref, c'est mon avis et je le partage !

Ce resto est excellent autant par son service que par la qualité de ses aliments Le serveur nous a conseiller un vin excellent qui se mêlait bien avec notre repas Les aliments cuits à points un mélange de difféentes entrées du Moyen Orient que nous avons découvert et savourer et un plat principal de différentes brochettes comme je n'ai jamais goûter aillleurs À recommander et à recommencer... more

Le slogan de la maison veut que l`Astral soit le restaurant le plus fréquenté de Québec, avec quelque «trois millions de gourmets!» Il n`est guère difficile de le croire, puisque l`Astral est plus qu`un restaurant, c`est un véritable tour de manège! L`expérience est unique à tous points de vue.
