Definitition of what a Pub should be!
This pub has something like 19 or 20 different beers on tap, and unlike any other place in nanaimo (to my experience) they serve a FULL PINT. For those of you who don't know what a full pint is, its a tall, thick 20 oz. glass. Amazing drink specials every day. The food is awesome, and the chances of your waitress being hot is PRETTY high. The weekend bartenders are by far the hottest ones in nanaimo (I dont know who that tall blondie is, but omg....), and they ALWAYS have a sweet gig lined up on weekends. Whoever calls this place The Old Sh*tty Station needs to have a second whiff. I don't know about you, but I like to have my full 20 oz. pint of beer ($3.50 on fridays) served to me by a sexy bartender (blondie....i love you) while my favourite game is on. Apparently some people just aren't down with that! Do you even know what a pub IS?

Imaginitive pub food

Unique Hawaiian pizza with caramelized onions and feta. The burger was "the bomb." They were great at substituting items for us. Halibut was excellent--non greasy.

Great Beer & Wings
July 29, 2014Apparently they make other great food. However, my friends and I just loaded up on beer & wings. All the wings we tried were delicious & our server was awesome! It's a great back to just chill and enjoy some food & drinks with friends!

Fantastic Food
June 20, 2014Went there last weekend for the 12pm-7pm 1/2 price appetizers as my companions are on a limited budget. FABULOUS food, and large portions for appies. Good selection of beers and the staff and service are great. My first time there but my companions say that the food is always good/consistent quality. Parking is a pain on the street so spring... more
