As an experienced and easy going traveler, I expected there to be zero problems for a quick night's rest before heading up to whistler.
Unfortunately, the baseness of the motel was only surpassed by the baseness of the owner's manners.

Being rude to customers is not a good idea when representing a motel like this one. What is going to bring them back? The smelly rooms? The old worn down... more

My family was staying here while traveling through Vancouver. We got two rooms for 5 people. One of the rooms smelled strongly of smoking and chemicals (we asked for non smoking ) in the other room we found a small bug crawling in the sheets. Very offensive owner. When my family (party of 5 booked two rooms through Expedia) tried to get breakfast, the owner yelled and demanded to see breakfast... more

So it's our first time to visit Canada, we got recommend for this hotel by a family friend. Great hotel awesome service and great location as for the reason we don't give it a 5 star was due to us asking a simple question to get the sheets changed in front of us and he refused he kept insisting the sheets are clean and etc so we let it go and went with his word as soon as we got into our room... more
