Unpleasant surprise

We were the first owners of our Noort-built house. Most things have been very good - in general, the house was well constructed. However, 6 years after we bought it we developed a water leak in our bathroom which was due to an error the contractor made in installing tile in the shower. Even though this mistake was obvious, after prolonged negotiation Noort made a final offer of significantly less than 50% of our costs in repairing their error. It's a shame you can't trust them to stand behind their work.
