Where's the Feta
July 31, 2014Last time we went to this pub I wasnt so impressed, they're changed the menu around and to me it just didnt taste as good. I really didnt like all those red onions in my Spinach salad and where was the feta? My huband ordered the Friday night Rib special that comes with those curly fries, or whatever they are,... more

Great pub grub, good looking friendly waitresses
July 29, 2014Perhaps the most attractive, friendly waitresses in Vicky City. A very good light pub menu and a warm bar with wood everywhere. There is also an attached liquor store. This is my favourite neighbourhood pub.

One of the first great island pubs
June 30, 2014About 30 years ago, the pubs we have all over British Columbia now were only available on Vancouver Island. They had dozens of them. They were all different and most were fantastic. The style for most of them is and was good, inexpensive food and drink for adults. One of the foods that evolved out of pubs was chicken wings.... more
