You will certainly get your money's worth. Everything was great, the food, the service. The portion was more than adequate for $13.
I've had the seafood before and never been let down so for a change the last time I was there, I tried the pad thai and it was "delishes"!!
It's such a great atmosphere too!

McKelvie's has been one of my favourite restaurants for many years. It has an inviting atmosphere, and is a place where I feel comfortable whether I'm casually or formally dressed. I've tried many dishes, but I usually get one of their salmon entrees. We always receive excellent service and have never been disappointed in the food.
très bon. bon service. beau restaurant. Un peu trop cher. C'était meilleur chez Chives.
Way over priced....I think my Crunchy Haddock may have been pre done---"Highliner"...I 'll take a pass next time....... more

When out-of-towners ask about the best place for seafood, they are invariably sent to McKelvie's. Just a hop skip and jump from the waterfront, it is a busy, lively restaurant full of diners who don't mind spending a bit extra for the best. Located in one of the lovely old waterfront buildings that underwent renovation instead of going under the wrecker's ball, McKelvie's was a fire hall over... more
