This is definitely the worst College (now University). The tuitions, books, Recreation Facilities and other extra school cost (including Parking) is so expensive. I didn't find the learning was helpful. It was more self taught and self study learned. I didn't like the glass building. I thought it was too big. There was no extra study help either. I didn't liked the school environment either.... more
Problems with professors trying to date students. First year, a professor asked me out. In my second year, it happened again with another professor. Also, certain professors will give you all the answers from the test bank in certain classes. Kind of made my experience as a student weird.
School environment is great and staff are very helpful. Took one star off because there is a lack of enough study space but I'm sure that will change with the new building opening up next year! Also wish they had more food options and more class choices. Hoping that macewan will have more departments that become established!
The MacEwan University was stared as the MacEwan Community College in 1971. The post secondary institution has a huge campus spread over an area of 39 acres (16 hectares).
