I love this gallerys name! It also suggests how modern the art is. I really enjoyed looking here, since I do not enjoy older art as much as contemporary pieces. I attended a friend's birthday party here and thought the space and idea of having your birthday at a trendy gallery was a lot more exciting than the average bar/restaurant.
La Petite Mort Gallery is a small gallery but the perfect size for a small event and it's centrally located in the Byward Market.

This is a small gallery on Cumberland Street that I would highly recommend to someone looking to buy contemporary and unorthodox art. It's an okay place to browse, although the selection isn't expansive. Their exhibits run anywhere from one day to one month, so you can always keep your eyes open for something new and provocative to grace their walls.
