a cute spot
this is a nice little place to grab a muffin and a coffee though i don't know if i'd come here for anything else. named after the U2 song?

One Tree thrill

Joshua Tree may serve the truly addictive Mediterranean melt sandwich and excellent lattes but there are many other reasons to visit this sweet inner-city cafe.
While, for some, the need to feed an addiction to the purely perfect medley of grilled veggies and avocado on foccacia bread (the Mediterranean melt) is there, the comfy, worn couches and casual setting...

Good Alternative on "Breakfast Trail
May 06, 2013I hesitate to review the Joshua Tree because too many people will discover our little neighbourhood gem. It's tucked into a strip mall and very unassuming - easy to pass by. However, this is where the neighbours come while the rest of the city lines up for breakfast across the street! The food here is above average for a coffee... more

April 19, 2013My boss and I have met at this cafe for over a year for business meetings to my get protest. I honestly don't understand how a cafe builds clientele other than through great product and great customer service. The coffee is worse than burnt, old Tim Hortons and the staff don't care about their customers. It must be the generous communities of Renfrew and Crescent Heights that keep this poor... more
