Could focus a bit

Not a bad selection, though they could focus on more folk art and less crafty stuff. They should also stop selling imported crafts.

Jennifer's is known for having the best selection of locally made handcrafts. You can find just about anything here: woodwork, pewter, rug-hooking, pottery, stained glass and foodstuffs. It's always the place I take visiting relatives to buy their souvenirs, and it's often the place I go when I want to find a uniquely Nova Scotian gift, or just feel like browsing through beautiful things.

Everything for sale in Jennifer's of Nova Scotia is handmade and most of it is made by more than 125 Nova Scotia craftspeople. The discerning souvenir hunter will find traditional hooked rugs, quilts, delightful pottery, pewter jewelry and unbelievably delicious local preserves. There's always something for the current season available including Trick or Treat bags, perhaps or a Christmas berry... more
