You have to go digging for the best spots to grab a bite to eat in Burnside, and this place is definitely worth checking out if sushi is your thing.
I found the Japan Deli after visiting the BMO bank in Burnside and wasn't disappointed. Their rice bowls are only $3.99 (not too sure how they are making money on this!) and they also had some great spicey tuna ($7.99) - both of these dishes were...

I had a chicken teriyaki bowl for $3.99 which was pretty good. My husband had a salmon bento box for $7.75 which was also good.
You can get in and out in less then 5 minutes and everything is prepared fresh daily.
Worth a try...especially if your new to Burnside :)
