I went here for an Oil change because I found a Groupon online. I the store did not look too clean, but it is a mechanic shop so go figure. They quoted a couple hours and it took a couple hours. They were very honest and polite. They told me what was wrong and the price to fix it. I will be back there again because of their candor.

Best repair shop in town, good rates, friendly, fair, fast, accommodating.

I take our volkwagen, bmw, lexus and Nissan to Fred and have never had a bad experience.

Had to replace a steering rack on the Jetta and the quote from a place on the west side who specializes in German cars, came in at 1600.00 - Ital came in at 900.00, and such disparity in parts and labour costs seems toe be common.... more

The place is family owned, small, caring, reasonable and as honest as the day is long. I've been going there for 36 years and have seen so many acts of generosity on their part, both to myself and others. They always try to save me money.
