Best deli in Winnipeg

This really is the best deli in Winnipeg. The food is excellent, and I love the cool, urban deli underground atmosphere.
I always get either a Reuben or a corned beef on rye with hot mustard. And of course, no Jewish deli experience is complete with matzo ball soup, which Ira's does very well.

What a find
May 23, 2014I had no idea that Ira's was talked away in the basement of "The Brick" building on Lombard Street - but having been there I have no hesitation in saying that I wished I had known about this before now! The Perogies are superb and the sandwiches to die for! "regular" sandwiches are 1/4 pounders and the New York sandwiches... more
