Beautiful, perfect location, fabulously friendly, professional staff. My first floor room (2nd floor, American) was quiet and spacious with the high quality bedding one would expect as well as wonderful shower. Close to everything in Old Montreal.
Heads up for travelers hoping to get a good nights sleep... there is a disco/club very near (a couple doors over) from Hotel Gault that dumps drunk, noisy patrons out onto the street at 3am, Wednesday- Sunday. If you're staying in a street room (I was in 150) be prepared to be woken up. 3am-4am, yelling, screaming, singing, etc. my husband wondered aloud if there was a riot happening.
