July 25, 2014Great deals on the combo plates. Choice of two mains with rice and an egg roll for $8.99! Its a good amount of food too. Try the sesame chicken, its delicious. Best bang for your buck for chinese take-out in B-ville.

Not so Great Wok

After experiencing a disappointing meal at the Tang Dynasty last year I decided to give the Great Wok a try recently.
To put it bluntly the food was oily and tasteless. I don't know why the Chinese take-out joints here in Bowmanville don't add simple ingredients such as ginger and garlic to bolster the taste factor.

Just down the street
February 02, 2014Great Wok is just down the street from where I live. Within walking distance. We eat here on a regular basis. Food is always good. Some of our favourites are the Ho Fun Noodles, the Sesame Chicken and the boiled dumplings. You can't beat the lunch specials for the price!!
