Poor Service, Customer Made to Feel Like a Burden

I had just moved into the neighborhood and was happy to see that there was a pet food store with some healthier products. When I walked into the store, there was an older woman at the cash register. She did not smile, she did not say a greeting. I walked up to the counter to ask for a product and she sighed like I was bothering her. She said it was "Over there". I went into the direction she motioned to with her eyes, who knows where that was, and could not find the brand I was looking for. So I went up to her again and she very rudely said: "It's right there!" I went and got the bag and came up to the cash. Thankfully there was another worker there who was decent. I was about to walk out, but he rung my item in and was at least courteous. I returned again, asking for a product which they were out of stock on. I actually contacted the wholesaler and asked when they could bring it in to this global pets, they told me anytime and just to ask the store to call them. I asked the male employee and he took my name and number down. I called a few days later and the woman on the phone acted like I was such a burden again but told me she would order the food in. I checked in again a few days later and still nothing. The woman on the phone snapped at me and told me that they had a busy week and maybe they could get the food the following week. I told her "That's okay, I think I'll get it somewhere else". That is bad bad business. They lost a customer who was going to spend $150/month on just food. Too bad for them. I prefer to give my money to store owners who appreciate their customers.
