Great Food and Service

I heard about George's Burgers and Subs for a long time from many of my co-workers. This establishment has been in Winnipeg for a very long time. Many of my coworkers swear that this is one of the best burger diners in Winnipeg. I must say that I can not disagree. While other burger diners are very creative and come out with "designer" burgers, George's Burgers sticks to a set of mainstream burgers that practically anyone can enjoy. They keep it simple but something about the way they prepare each burger to your liking makes you want to come back again and again. At this particular location, the service was quick and friendly and their washrooms very clean. The layout is a bit cramped on the inside but thankfully they have chairs on the outside for those warmer days. You will not want to come into George's if you are on a diet, want low-fat food or are trying to stay in shape. What they serve here is traditionally a Winnipeg burger. Lots of cheese, massive patties, greasy chilli and thick cut onions. Not healthy to have regularly but definitely a treat to yourself once in a while. For what it is worth, George's Burgers serve far better burgers than any of the established burger diners in Vancouver.
