Brought some old skis in, one pair for a tune up and the other having the bindings remounted. After some brief mocking for bringing in "antiques," they tried the hard sell on their high-priced equipment. By making the point that a pair of $1200 skis would only be $100 a year over their lifetime -- I doubt they would offer such a payment plan for the skis, although I didn't ask.

A great locally owned shop. I've bought boots and other ski gear there over the years, and also bring my bike for servicing every year. Frank's a great guy.

It was time to update my ski boots from the 1980's set I have used. Upon the advice of many, I got fitted for SuperFeet for my next boots. The custom insoles are an excellent upgrade and after trying them out on the hill, I'm really glad I got them done. I may keep these boots for 15+ years, maybe less but I can transfer the SuperFeet to my next set.
