THe hotel is OK but it is very tied and unchanged since I was there 6 years ago. Even the carpets are the same! It is well located for access to the city (uptown Waterloo) and there are a couple of diners within a few minutes walk but the hotel is nothing special and other than location has little going for it.
i visited high school friends I grew up with in the area.My room was very nice and quiet. Hotel was close to the area I wanted to visit, and easy to find. The price, through Orbitz, was quite reasonable.I would definitely go back again.Apparently I did not get all my phone messages.
This is an old hotel with an outdated remodel, low dirty ceilings, my room smelled like paint thinner, small TV, overall uncomfortable feel, I would pick another place next time.
