At this modern high-rise hotel at the heart of downtown, every room boasts a waterfront view, and the Harbourside Walkway scene is just seconds away. It's worth the splurge for a superior room, with upgraded amenities and views from two sides. Two wheelchair-accessible rooms are available. The hotel connects to the Port Theatre complex.

Hotel is nothing special, restaurant is great.

The neighbourhood is a bit seedy thanks to the nearby casino, and we were charged $9 for overnight parking. Parking for $9 may not be out of line for Vancouver, but it is out of line for Nanaimo. When we made our booking this hotel was the most expensive in Nanaimo, but it turned out to be nothing special, and we would have been better off booking with one of the chain hotels a little further... more

Beautiful room with a view of the harbor and lots of cute shops and restaurants within walking distance. The parking facility was a little bit of a pain but a great stay other than that.

Noisy rooms

The hotel is dated, they charge $8.00 a day for parking and it's noisy. Mainly street noise and the electric fan heaters kick in over and over. It's expensive, in a great location, but we wouldn't stay here again
