I was on a trip from Oshawa, Ontario to Edmonton, Alberta to visit. I walked into this Canadian Tire wanting to buy a converter that converts a cigarette lighter plug into an AC plug after my dog broke my other one in Rapid City, South Dakota. You probably wont want to hear this but.... in the automotive industry ( as with a lot of other businesses) you really do get what you pay for.
I dont work for Canadian tire, but I do work at a full service mechanical shop, and I can tell you that, when it comes to your vehicle, do not go for the "cheap" fix.

While on my way camping, my car stalled three times on the highway going about 110KM per hour. The second time it stalled it would not restart, so I had the car towed to Red Deer Canadian Tire. At this time the only problem I was having was that the car stalled while driveing, and I told the mechanic that the stalling seemed to coincide with my lifting my foot off of the gas pedal.
