A great bakery
A friendly environment, their bakery department is very good,I've ordered lots of cakes and they always turn out wonderful, the store is spacious and clean and nice shopping experience
Good grocery shopping experience
Staff are friendly and professional, selection is good, has good sales. I like the 10% off or 10x air miles event on the first Tuesday of each month. Love the bakery. Produce could be better. Meat Department should offer smaller packages, such as 1 lb. of ground beef, not 1 1/2 lbs. All in all, I like the store.
Good for a grocery chain
I like Safeway's bakery much more than any of the other big grocery store's.

This is one of the nicer grocery stores on Kamloops' south shore. Even though it isn't the closest one to my house, I usually end up here when I need to do a bigger shopping trip.
