I came across this Safeway since it was the closest to Metrotown.

This Safeway seriously needs some renovation work done! I was quite surprised of how terrible inside looked compared to other Safeway stores. I have not been inside this store but I called the meat department to ask if they had free range turkey and and he said they don't but immediately suggested alternatives and another safeway that he knows in fact has these alternatives in stock. I was pleasantly surprised as I could hear a smile in his voice as well. I find it hard to come across good service over the phone so this was very nice.

This Safeway isn't awful, just meh.
