Great casual upscale spot
Stopped in on a Friday nite about 9:30. It was quite busy and lively, much more like big city dining than you would expect to stumble onto in Fredericton, Good food, great menu. Not the place for a quiet, romantic dinner on the weekend, but a great spot.
For the rich and thin
I only went once on Valentine's Day to take out my only love to a fab lunch, but all I did was complain about the service, portions and cost. Oh! and the concret blocks as walls - ambience.....

Enfin un restaurant à Frédéricton qui fait preuve de créativité, de goût, et surtout qui ne vous colle pas une montagne de frites dans l'assiette !
4 étoiles parce que peut mieux faire comparé à d'autres (L'Idylle à Dieppe ou Little Louis à Moncton) mais bon... pas loin du 5 étoiles quand même....

Average food at a premium price

Before getting critical, I applaud the service, atmosphere, and concept. However, the food was underwhelming. The duck gnocci sounded great but in my opinion needed more flavor. The Thai red curry was quite good but double the price of what it would be at other places.
While this experience was definately sub par and not worth the price, I might...

August 05, 2014I was in Fredericton on the civic holiday monday and not many restaurant or pubs we're open in downtown Freddy. My boyfriend and i walked around and came upon The Blue Door restaurant and the menu looked inviting so we decided to go in. What a GREAT choice we made because this was one of the best meals i've ever... more

Flavourful, fresh and interesting
August 04, 2014We understood there were new owners for this downtown restaurant, having been recommended by B&B host as we were passing through Fredericton. Interesting menu, fusion feel for some dishes, lovely fresh flavours. I appreciated mussels with green curry and coconut broth - waiter helpful in assuring me it was not extended by real milk, as I'm lactose - intolerant, delicious.... more
