Phenomenal Service/Product/After Sales Service
I couldn't be happier choosing to do business with Aluminum Warehouse! I searched far and wide throughout the city and found that their service, product and price blew everyone else out of the water. The staff are super friendly and knowledgable which leads me to believe the other two reviewers were maybe having a bad day.
The Northstar windows in my house are beautiful they arrived in no time and the quality is there as promised.
The staff were very inviting the first time I walked into the door and only got better as the conversations went on. I even had a small issue with my eavestroughing system and I mentioned it to them when we were discussing windows and they actually gave me the parts I would need to solve my issue at no charge...WOW! The counter guys are amazing they'll help you with anything you need and if they cant they'll lead you in the right direction as I over heard one associate recommending another company and providing phone numbers and addresses. The driver who showed up to my house to deliver the product was very professional, friendly and took very good care of the product as he was unloading the truck into my garage.
I would and have HIGHLY recommended Aluminum Warehouse to friends and family. They were more then a pleasure to deal with.

third rate customer service
In todays economy, customer service is paramount. Aluminum Warehouse does not understand this- from the owner all down the line (all two of them).
I placed a big order of very heavy windows and a truck shows up with one guy to unload, so they expect the customer to do the heavy lifting. When I called to ask why, they told me to buy my windows somewhere else next time. When they shipped product I did not need, they would not take it back. Abusive and crusty order takers at the desk. Truly a Mickey Mouse operation. Fail. There are other suppliers in the city who are happy to sell the same product.
Rude nasty counter staff and owner. AVOID.
Rude, nasty, unpredictable counter staff. I would rate the owner as worse ... a bully. Product is good but I wish you luck if you have ANY problems with your product and need the management ... they may show you the door and tell you that they "don't need to be doing business with people like you". This recent encounter was the worst experience I have ever had to endure in any retail outlet - ever ... I wonder how these guys stay in business with the attitude that they display. Check other stores in Ottawa. Avoid both Canadian Comfort and Aluminum Warehouse. You will be happy with your decision.
