Do I have to give one star?

The expert-looking photos on display in the studio are deceiving. We had outdoor family photos done by Slice of Life, taken in an area where the light, at the photographer's own admission, was not good. She insisted at that time-- and again while viewing the proofs-- that the heavy shadows would be able to be reduced in the touch-up process. When we got the finished photos, the shadows were overpowering, the finish was blurry, the teeth were far too white... Our complaints about them could go on and on. Suffice it to say, they were not at all to our liking. We contacted her many times by e-mail trying to get some satisfaction, but the only thing she would concede to was that the teeth could use some de-whitening. All our other concerns were met with dismissal, until eventually she just stopped responding at all. The photos are so bad I can't bring myself to hang them in my home, and I'm only keeping them because they were my family's last pictures together before my father passed away.
