This place is a bit better than a dive no matter what ownership it is under or the decor they change. What really destroys the place is the clientelle of smelly, dirty men sitting outside getting tanked at all hours of the day. Only time I have enjoyed this bar has been I was already loaded at the tail end of a pub crawl lol, but then everything is nice then.

What an unsuspecting dive! Despite its richly decorated interior, new everything, and clean taps, not to mention proximity to some cheap eats and mass transit, the programming, staff, and patrons make this an unforgettably sleazy place. Ended up here on a weekend night with a large group of people after a party. Not bad for location, this is right next to the New West skytrain station (literally.) The interior seems to have been renovated, hardwood floors, several bar tables in a large open space. The patio was still open, with a few patrons here and there. It was suprisingly empty for a Saturday night.
